Data Logger Training

Dear Principal, Director, Community Member and/or Classroom Teacher

Wauchope High School has been fortunate in purchasing excellent data loggers. A Data logger is a Digital Sensor that can take a range of accurate measurements of a range of quantities including Biometric, Biological, Chemical and Physical factors. Wauchope High School is a Community High School focused improving outcomes and engagement for all students. We, the Science Faculty of Wauchope High School, would like your Primary School / Preschool / Day Care/ Community Group to have free access to this resource but require staff to be training in the effective and safe use of the equipment. The training will provide an opportunity to meet with each other, strengthen links and connections within the Bago community whilst also ensuring that when the Data loggers and sensors are loaned out to groups they will be fully and safely utilised. It pleases us greatly in that St Joseph's Wauchope has regularly borrowed our equipment and can testify that we are accommodating and easy to work with.

The training will be conducted at Wauchope High School in Science Laboratory E2 between 3pm and 6pm on the 30th of October. We will be providing a full dinner and experienced science teachers to assist in the training. Please RSVP with any dietary requirements by the 24th of October. I also will take this time to thank you again for your involvement and support of Science Week where Wauchope High School put on a number of community events to mark the occasion. This included but was not limited to the 3rd Hastings Science Fair at Port Panthers and the SkyStories Event where Dream Time and Scientific Enquiry met at Sancrox Park.
